Grow a pair, Puteri Umno has bigger balls: its chief on general election

KUALA LUMPUR – The Umno general assembly opened to a rather “ballsy” affair as Puteri Umno chief Datuk Zahida Zarik Khan called on party leadership to allow the wing to take on the opposition parties during the 15th general election.

Speaking during her policy speech at the opening of the Puteri Umno convention, here, Zahida, backing Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan’s call for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to dissolve Parliament earlier, said Umno’s momentum to regain victory in the 15th general election should not be stifled.

“We are now in fourth gear and shifting into fifth gear. Waiting to go into overdrive only.

“We want to accelerate our car to the finishing line. To gain the ultimate win, redeem our lost pride during the 14th general election, (please) do not weaken our spirit to accelerate further.

“Don’t say that we are young women, or a weak Puteri (wing). We can be more manly than some of the men around here.

“Our balls can be bigger than yours,” she said to the cheers of the Puteri delegates at the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), here, today.

Umno members who are wary of facing other parties that insulted them in the past, she said, should castrate themselves and throw the parts into the Johor Lama crocodile park – a location she had noted during her election campaign trip in the southern state.

Zahida also called on the party’s leadership to not entertain DAP leaders’ call to extend the MoU to delay the general election.

“Do not entertain the pleas by Pejuang leaders for the general election to be held at the end of their term.

“They are begging because they are in fear. All the while, they were waiting to kill us off.

“Why do we want to give them a lifeline to kill us again?” she asked.

Meanwhile, Zahida also called on Umno leadership to ensure that party polls will only be held after GE15.

“Puteri Umno calls on the party’s leadership to hold party polls after GE15 because our focus right now should be victory in the upcoming election.

“All our energy and focus needs to be channelled for GE15 to ensure the party’s stability remains continuous at present,” she added. – The Vibes, March 17, 2022
